Terms
The terms for using Kritch.
These terms apply to every organization that uses Kritch. Where a signed agreement with your organization says something else, the agreement applies.
Who we are
Kritch is made and run by Radical Fanatics. "We" in these terms means Radical Fanatics; "you" means the organization that uses Kritch, and the people it invites.
What Kritch does for you
Kritch reads data from the systems you connect and, once a person in your organization has approved it, does exactly what was approved: it makes files, sends them to the people you chose and keeps a record of everything it did. Nothing runs and nothing changes without that approval. We keep Kritch working, safe and up to date, and we tell you in advance about changes that affect you.
What we expect from you
You may only connect systems and use data that you are allowed to use. You keep the logins and keys to your systems for Kritch alone, and you choose who in your organization may approve. You check what a flow does before you approve it: Kritch shows you a preview so that you can.
Your data
Your data stays yours. Kritch reads it only to do what you approved, keeps the files it makes for 90 days and then removes them, and never gives your data, logins or keys to any AI. When our support works in your organization, that is written in your logs, with the name of the person who did it. How we handle personal data is set out in a separate processing agreement.
Fair use
Kritch is shared by many organizations. To keep it fast and fair for all of them, we ask everyone to use it in a normal way for their business.
- What normal is. We compare your use with that of similar organizations on Kritch: how often flows run, how many records are read, how many files are made and kept, how many emails are sent and how many requests go to other systems. Use that is many times higher than that of similar organizations is more than normal.
- We talk first. When your use is more than normal, we contact you before we do anything. Together we look for the best way forward: making a flow lighter (a narrower filter, a different schedule), a price that fits your use, or running some work later in the day. We give you at least 30 days to choose.
- We never act silently. We do not remove your data and we do not stop a flow without telling you.
- Misuse is different. If Kritch is misused, or its use puts the service for others at risk, we may slow down or stop that use at once, and contact you straight after. Misuse is, for example: sending mail that people did not ask for, using Kritch to get around the limits of another system, or handling data or content that is unlawful.
The limits of Kritch
Some limits are built in, for everyone, so that nobody is surprised by them: one export reads at most 250,000 records, one file is at most 25 MB, and files are kept for 90 days. When a limit is reached, Kritch says so in plain words and makes no half file. The user manual lists all limits.
Availability
We work to keep Kritch available at all times, but cannot promise that it never stops. When something goes wrong, Kritch keeps what it could not finish and tries again or tells you what needs you; it does not skip work silently. Planned maintenance is announced in advance.
Liability
What we are liable for, and up to what amount, is set out in the agreement with your organization.
Ending
You can stop using Kritch at the end of the agreed period. Before that, you can download your files; after it, we remove your connections, files and data within a reasonable time, except what we must keep by law.
